Club information, policies and safeguarding information
Witham Hockey Club was established in 1924. Our home is at The Park Pavilion on Maldon Road, which we share with Witham Cricket Club.
Originally, matches were played on grass at The Park but are now played on the high quality AstroTurf pitch on Spinks Lane.
In recent years the club has grown and we now run 5 mens and 3 ladies teams in Saturday leagues, a mens and ladies indoor team on a Thursday evening, a mens and ladies vets team who are entered into their respective England Hockey competitions and a mixed team. We also run a thriving and successful junior section who train and play in tournaments on Sundays.
Welcome to Witham Hockey Club. This year is the club's 98th year and we are proud to provide a variety of hockey opportunities for our members. As an umpire and still occasional player myself I am passionate about facilitating sport for all and providing access at all levels of the sport I have been involved in for too many years to count!
